The other day, my sister announced that she was “married” to One Direction, and she showed me her “wedding ring” that she bought at Forever 21. I figured that this happened to other people whose siblings are “Mrs. MalikPayneStylesHoranTomlinson” or other wise known as extreme One Direction Fans. Thanks for asking. Easy No Sew Capri Sun Pouch

I made this with two Capri Sun juice containers and some duct tape. I would have sewn it, but I was frustrated that I couldn’t work my sewing machine. If I had extra time, I would have cut another juice container and used the metallic side so it would cover over the top. You can use this as a pencil case or cosmetic bag. I just wanted to let you guys know that I won’t be updating for a week while I’m on vacation, but stay tuned!

I just want to thank my 24 new followers and everyone who liked or reblogged my post! You guys are just so amazing. Thank you again. Never in a million years would I think that so many of you would support or recognize what I do. It really means a lot. I could dance! I have been living the last 24 hours in shock. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! I am absolutely flabbergasted! Don’t worry I have plenty of new projects planned ahead. Right now there’s a Coke can in front of me just begging to become a new pair of earrings. I just we can say that I’ll be drinking a lot more soda and iced tea from now on.

DIY Arizona Iced Tea Earrings

First, draw a general teardrop shape on the sheet of aluminum.

You can cut through with just regular scissors.

Take the earring and lay it against a cardboard surface. Use a sewing needle to poke a hole near the top. Since it’s on cardboard, you won’t end up puncturing your table. Also, because it’s laying down, the aluminum won’t bend at the impact verses holding it in your hand.

Take wire (mine was just electrical wire) and cut it with scissors about 4 inches long.

Thread the earring, leaving room in front.

Twist the space into a small loop.

Twist 2 to 3 times until the loop is facing flat, the same direction as the earring.

Cross the wire to the back and twist the two ends tightly together.

Clip the ends shorter with scissors. Open up the loop of the already made French loops available at craft stores and attach the wire loop. Squeeze the loop back together. Here is the finished product. Enjoy your homemade, recycled earrings.

Just a note: You might want to trim the very top part that is pointy to avoid cutting your ear lobe.
